Resolutions (I know, again, I’m sorry!)

There isn’t anything wrong with making resolutions. But this year, I am going to suggest we think about resolutions that are do-able, and ones that feel brighter every day.

Look, I don’t want to be a negative Nancy during a difficult time for us all, but hear me out. In a 'normal' year it is totally fine for us to think “New year, new me” and for us all to make a list of wholesome and lofty ambitions/goals for the upcoming year, or often for the first 30 days of January. But truthfully, there is nothing 'normal' about this year and so we've got to shake it up!) There isn’t anything wrong with making resolutions. But this year, I am going to suggest we think about resolutions that are do-able, and ones that feel brighter every day. So things that add to ones life, rather than take away from. What about 'One square of chocolate a day' rather than 'no chocolate at all', or what about 'dry-ish January'.Let's be honest here, it’s a full on lockdown.

We really miss our families, we really miss our friends, we miss cinemas and movies, we miss travel, we miss parties. And so, no I am not going to be starving myself this January. I'm going to be continuing life with an open mind, learning new things every day and trying to become a better version of myself...whilst keeping this real.Anyway, apologies for the rant. Don’t give up good New Years resolutions because of me. And if you have enjoyed this I will be live and ranting every Thursday at 10am ET, 3pm GMT on IG - so join me, and let's keep things light and easy where we can...
